Ho Lee Group
Ho Lee Group (HLG), established in 1996, traces its origins back to the early 70s when it began as a company specializing in general plumbing works. Over the next few decades, the company expanded its scope to include various construction-related services such as general building construction, specialized metal works, formwork fabrication, and the sales and rental of construction machinery and equipment. This diversification culminated in the formation of Ho Lee Group, bringing together these companies under a unified corporate structure.
The creation of the group allowed the individual companies to adopt a shared corporate culture centered on open communication and the exchange of ideas. This approach fostered collaboration between colleagues and business partners, enabling the development of effective construction solutions for clients and contributing to the overall improvement of the industry.
Since its formation, HLG has expanded further through strategic acquisitions, including Wee Poh Construction Co. (Pte) Ltd in 2005, a civil engineering construction company with the highest grading (A1) from the Building Construction Authority (BCA) under the CW02 workhead. In 2007, HLG acquired Liang Huat Aluminium Ltd, a leading specialist in aluminium and curtain wall solutions listed on the Main Board of the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX). The Group has also ventured into property development, having worked on projects such as the Built-to-Order Mauser Factory in Tuas, The Watercolour Executive Condominium, and The Heron Bay Executive Condominium. Additionally, HLG was a major sponsor of the Viva Industrial Trust during its IPO listing on the SGX in November 2013.
The Group's success is rooted in its strong corporate culture, which encourages collaboration and continuous improvement. By leveraging the experience and knowledge of its diverse workforce, HLG has positioned itself to tackle new business areas and future challenges. As the company continues to grow, it remains committed to fostering strong partnerships and providing innovative construction solutions that benefit its customers and the construction industry as a whole.
